I was taken a shot to a farmhouse in mountain, when I saw these curiuos chickens at the window...maybe they wanted a portrait...

Sono proprio in gabbia questi due poveracci e ti ci sei messa anche tu! Un pò sovraesposta in basso ma piacevole composizione. Un filo di speranza per loro glielo dà quel filo d'erba: forse un'anima caritatevole eviterà una tiratina di collo. Good textures

Love this image, althought the title could be "jail time". I like the textures, colours, the rusted mesh and the porous texture of the concrete gives the age of the building, suggesting generations of curious chickens. The green plant on the right ads a nice contrast of colours and in general interest to the photo. Chickens are also very interesting, I like how they look outstide but also look at one another almost like looking for each others support.
My only nit pick is the bottom of the image, would love to see a bit more breathing room, preferably the same amount as at the top.

I like the rust and red of the image. Though the sharpness is a little bit overdone for my eye. The scene is very expressive and sad, the soup surely expect those curious two.

Carinissima questa, Ale!! Ma queste due poverette sono rinchiuse nello strettissimo spazio fra la rete e la finestra??
I colori sono favolosi, fra l'altro le piume e la ruggine sono dello stesso colore ...
Veramente ben visto e fatto!

NB: Potresti aggiungerla al tuo tema delle finestre, no?

Mi pareva che non ci fosse una finestra! Guarda che il tema II° temo di averlo riempito la scorsa settimana io (sorry...) ne servirà un terzo.
Manco a dirlo i colori ruggimne mi piacciono moltissimo, e la composizione è azzeccata. Ho giusto una foto dello stesso tenore presa il mese scorso, ma adesso che c'è la tua non è più il caso (ubi major...)
Mi piace proprio, anche se in fondo il messaggio è un po' triste.

It's always nice to see, that photographers see things and details, where someone else is passing without noticing it. This is such a "pic"ture, I think. I love the textures and the chickens perfect placed but also the tiny flower. Very nice work from you, uhm.....Aletalia

Hehe, very charming to find the two chickens in the large version, I kind of missed out on them on the thumbnail. A fun twist on your collection of window shots with an interesting combination of textures fromthe washed-out wall and the rusty frames. The piece of green at the right adds a pleasant dash of color, and also balances the two chickens well. Very nice shot, Ale :-)

Excellent picture alessandra. I like very luch the browns of the rusted window and bars that match the chicken colors, and then the red that emereges. Chicken perfectly positionned which gets you to look in detail and find the eye of the left one starring at you. very very good.

This is great, I con't know how I missed it. I really like window shots, but this is something different, very obliging of the hens to pose in that position. I hadn't seen that theme before, I'll have to contribute.

Buona coordinazione di colore fra le piume coperte ruggine dei polli, & la griglia rossa arrugginita della finestra del ferro. Coltivazione & acutezza eccellenti. Pozzo visto!

Good colour co-ordination between the rust covered feathers of the chickens, & the rusty red iron window grate. Excellent cropping & sharpness. Well seen!

Great textures! I particulary like the rusted window and damaged grid. The chiskens add a funny and living touch to the place which seems to be deserted!

Poor chickens! But they do make a very interseting photo. The detail of the grill over the window contrasts nicely with the stone wall.
As with all your work you have a good eye for colour.
