With the Epiphany the holidays of the Christmas period have closed. Already at midnight, the tree in Piazza del Duomo has been shut down and will begin to be dismantled tomorrow.During its stay the tree received 550000 visitors. Today I show you a photo from inside the gigantic tree of lights, with a different coloring in the WS and a view of the Duomo through the structure of the tree itself.
This year in Piazza del Duomo, inspired by the historic bell towers of Milan, the 37-meter-high tree of light replaces traditional fir with a low-impact, light and semi-transparent structure, powered by energy from renewable sources.

SPEGNETE LE LUCI

Con l'Epifania si sono chiuse le feste del periodo natalizio. Già a mezzanotte, l'albero di Piazza del Duomo è stato spento e da domani inizierà ad essere smontato.Durante la sua permamenza ha ricevuto 550000 visitatori. Oggi vi mostro una foto dall'interno del gigantesco albero di luci, con una diversa colorazione nel WS ed una vista del Duomo attraverso la struttura dell'albero stesso.
Quest'anno in piazza del Duomo, ispirato agli storici campanili di Milano, l’albero di luce alto 37 metri sostituisce l’abete tradizionale con una struttura a basso impatto ambientale, leggera e semitrasparente, alimentata da energia da fonti rinnovabili.

Hello Luciano,
It's an original composition. I have not often seen a Christmas tree from inside. Without the note, and knowledge of the time of the year, it could have been difficult to understand what this is. The tiny light bulbs create a fine pattern of blue and black tones, and even more colours in the WS. It's also an unusual view of the cathedral as seen through a Christmas tree. You had good ideas for these photos.

All three photos on this subject are magnificent, Luciano, I would save the WS #2 for another day's post, it is my favorite here due to the added details of the Duomo facade.

I got the photos of main square of my town in that last saturday night. anyway, watching this image I am sad because I didn't take anyone like this, from inside the christmas tree. haha.
yes, we have a small one in conic shapes, but it hadn't blue lights. excellent idea and photo with the shapes and lights. TFS.

Luciano, the main photo and the workshop show the view from inside and through the Christmas tree installed in that famous plazza in Milan. It consists in a frame made in steel supporting the many fairy lights. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.
