Big Winter...., a photo from Turin, Piedmont

Park of Pellerina, Turin.
In January & February 2012 we had in Northern Italy 2 months of under zero temperatures, we reached for weeks near to -15°C. A particular frozen winter, with several snowfalls higher than the average (...and I liked it a lot...) .

The several passages of the machines to clean the streets produced little hills of ice at both sides of every street.
The frosty climate made these "hills" so strong that in late March we could yet see the remainings...

A wonderful winter picture witha a lovely enlightenment.
Nice addition of the lady walk on the path.
Also an excellent depth and perspective picture.

Il y a beaucoup de neige sur la belle ville de Turin. C'est vrai que cette ville fut une ville olympique d'hiver. Très belle réalisation à l'heure bleue.

Hi Camilla,
Beautiful winter view where warm toned illumination goes well with deep blue hour skylight. Snowy path curving uphill makes a nice perspective.

Beautiful archive picture with the winter evening in Turin. Marvelous composition with this snow, warm light and the woman walking with her dog. Beautiful picture.

La composition est fort belle avec des couleurs éclatantes.
Le sujet proposé est très réussi avec cette voie qui tourne donnant de l'espace et de la profondeur.
