Oi, Carlos.

Hi Carlos,
A typical TL photo ;-)
You see this effect a lot in commercial shots which i also did a long time ago.
Here you give this daily life street scene something extra in making it like this. The b&w part has a lot of grey tones, something deeper in the toning would make it probably even stronger in the presentation. I like your vertical composition with a very deep perspective, really beautiful.

Hej Carlos,
Well done, I was just thinking what would happen if you did the other way around, makeing all the people BW and coloring up the houses,architecture... just as a though.
because this is a perfect way to both see the architecture and the movement of people by separating them.
could be an add for Benneton
Cheers friend

Hello Carlos,
Great demonstration of skill with the camera - excellent POV and composition. Also, extremely sharp, clear details. The contrast with the tourists in color and the city in black and white makes an interesting presentation clearly demonstrating your skills in post processing as well. I admire your work very much.

Carlos,
O efeito fica um estouro so.

this is certainly an interesting approach, there's something futuristic about the image, may be from a day in 22nd century when the population on Earth is more than 10 billion. the partial desaturation works well to emphasise the crowd and its diversity, and judging from the note that's exactly what you were after, so this is a success :) the perspective is great, the converging walls create an almost hypnotic tunnel effect.

Bom dia Carlos!

Very nicely conceived, beautifully implemented image. I will be in Forence briefly in early August, and will think of this very site as I go under the skywalk between the two buildings. What incredible history. In the new book, "Leonardo's Universe," that my coauthor and I finished writing for the National Geographic, the incredible city gets the proper treatment of imagery and text that was shortchanged in "Math and the Mona Lisa." But, of course, in the earlier book, Leonardo served as a foil for the cross- polynation of disciplines, and Leonardo's intellectual legacy. The new book is just about Leonardo, but with his art and science presented in a balanced manner. But about your photograph, it is absolutely first rate!
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi my friend,
beautiful daily life portrait here with the excellent partial desaturation playing the main role of the compo. The people and its colours, contrasting with the b&w of the buildings brought life and you emphasized the side of the compo very well. The quality you delivered here is simply stunning. as usual, with great details throughout the shot. I like it!

Hi Carlos,
A superb photographic exercise, I like much this desaturation carried out all in smoothness. The clearness of the image is perfect and allows us to traverse the image with much pleasure. The wide-angle lens gives volume to this beautiful architecture. Beautiful work, cheer Carlos.
