Hi Geof, i like that image also if the light is a little bit too strong and it's a little bit out of focus.
the colours are very strong, and your POV was perfect to have a long persepctive on the Canal Grande.

Just read your note to Paolo... pity the 'vividness' is missing from the scan... otherwise a lovely typical Venician scene.. TFS. BAla

Très belles couleurs et une composition intéressante. Ici encore, trop de constraste ce qui a pour effet de brûler les détails des zones claires.

Hi Geof,
As stated in your note, this image conatins all the elemnts comming to mind when one thinks of Venice. Image is well composed and framed by the buildings on both sides on canal. Some quality in terms of color and sharpness is lost due to scanning process. Overall, colors are quite pleasing to the eye. Good use of polarizer.
