An upward view of Torre dei Lamberti e Gam. The observation deck of this tower offers a splendid panoramic view of Verona. You enter the courtyard, go up the stairs on the right then take the elevator as far as it goes, then walk a few flights of stairs, Well worth the effort. Might post a workshop of the courtyard. Taken on a dull, overcast day.

Hello Chris,
Some may prefer the WS where they might find more details worth seeing, but I like the main view for the depth (or rather height) achieved with the upward view of the tower. Also for the number of diagonals created by the two adjoining buildings.

This upward-aimed capture shows clearly the Roman Medieval tower's architecture that stands proudly on the Palazzo della Ragione as the higher in town and, as you mentioned, it invites for outstanding panoramic pictures of Verona.
You perfectly located its majesty on a vertical tiers line for a pleasant monumental whole.

Tu as eu une bonne idée d'utiliser l'arche pour cadre la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'arche et de la tour. La lumière donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

I agree that tower does provide good views except that when I visited I had to use the stairs all the way up. due to the lift being out of service.
A good and different view looking upwards.

Hello Chris,

This might have been a dull, overcast day, but I would not have recognised that without your notes. I was just so interested in the wonderful, decorative details of the building and how you have combined all these features so very well, so that the natural flow is upwards, and everything fits so well!

The w/s does look much wetter!

A great upward view of the tower with the arch well included in the foreground as well. Also the stripes of the building add some attractive diagonal lines to the photo.

there are still so many places I didn't see in Italy. It is certainly my favourite country.
Great composition here, the angle chosen very creative looking up from underneath the arch and towards the tower. Very pleasant geometry.
