Hi Carlos,

You finely used the desaturation partial until in the ensign of the restaurant, I like much, the more so as the image is of beautiful quality in particular in clearness. The format of the photograph reinforces the depth of the image. Original and well done, cheer Carlos.

Conceitualmente, a dessaturação lhe permitiu transmitir melhor a importância relativa de cada elemento na foto, reforçando as figuras humanas e sua ligação com um restaurante específico. Não conheço a cidade (já passei ao largo de Turim), mas parece-me que, ao ter dado tanto destaque ao “Samoa”, posso concluir que o restaurante é, de algum modo, típico ou importante; do contrário, a foto sem o destaque bastaria para mostrar uma rua e um restaurante genéricos. Apenas uma questão conceitual. A técnica, extremamente trabalhosa, foi feita com o cuidado que só o fotógrafo pode ter com o próprio trabalho, quase pixel a pixel... (pensei que usasse alguma forma de seleção por faixa de cor, mas aqui, pela complexidade, não iria funcionar, certo?) O enquadramento está bem natural e funcional, novamente, dando um destaque ao painel do restaurante.

For this particular place and time, I really appreciate your effort of desat work to show this sidewalk cafe scenery, very nicely done. This kind of lifestyle is something I would always enjoy when travel. Good weather, good company and good food/drink :)

Excelente dessaturação parcial da foto; pelo que observei foi um trabalho meticuloso cujo resultado merece uma nota 10. E um detalhe interessante é que as pessoas estão usando roupas de cores bem diferenciadas, e este detalhe enriqueceu muito a técnica aplicada. Linda mostra. Abraço, Consuelo

Olá Carlos, interessante trabalho de dessaturação embora talvez me depare com dúvidas semelhantes ao Benedetto. Sem dúvida que o grupo sentado na mesa mais próxima é o que atrai mais o olhar e também gosto das letras por cima. Talvez abrisse a excepção e deixasse as pessoas do extremo direito no mundo monocromático como se fizessem parte do mobiliário urbano. Seja como for é uma abordagem intressante nesta cena urbana.

The partial desaturation works perfectly well for me, the colorful accents are all in the right places. Strong vertical composition, full of that typical Turin mood I've always loved. I remember this spot downtown, although not the name of the street. It's been a long time since I've been here... TFS, buddy! Have a great day, I'll see you soon. I've been working throughout the weekend and I'm free today. If it stays sunny I might go to the island of Marken for a few shots this afternoon...

The weather was not at its best but here the partial desaturation except for the people, make for an attractive image. A good choice of vertical format as well...i might have cloned out the two guys on the right side ;)

Carlos,
esse tipo de fotografia com partes da imagem parcialmente desaturadas. Da um ambiente meio esquisito, fora do comum ou mesmo surreal. Ate parece pessoas sentadas em um cenario de filme dando a impressao de estarem na maquina do tempo. Pessoalmente eu prefiro tudo a cores e tudo em P&B.

What I particularly like here is the largely monochromatic scenery with the colorful people populating the image. I have good memories of a visit to Turin with the long colonnades.

Olá Carlos,

O nome Samoa me chamou a atenção, mas nada a ver com a ilha castigada pelo tsunami. Simpático restaurante com as mesas na calçada - coisa típica do verão europeu. Excelente trabalho o seu, desaturando todo o ambiente para destacar as pessoas. E olha que não são poucas! O resultado é uma imagem muito agradável, que nos leva a observar a bonita arquitetura dos prédios vizinhos. Sou sua fã, a precisão do seu trabalho é uma coisa maravilhosa.
