too bad though the weather was not perfect, but then again, you may not have been able to capture this photo.
its great that you also included the stonework on the ground, not just the puddle reflection. We can easily see that the sunlight is not there on this day! :)

Il mondo alla rovescia! Bellissimo...in questa chiesa il parroco assolve tutti i peccatori, che quindi possono tornare a gozzovigliare allegramente, tra immani libagioni e belle fanciulle oltremodo condiscendenti. Ma attenzione! Smette di piovere, la pozzanghera si asciuga, il parroco burlone svanisce, tutto torna come sempre. E allora...gente...saranno guai seri per i gozzovigliatori! Con le mogli che meneranno botte da orbi...Ahi, che disastro di lividi!

Hello Giuseppe,

A big church in a very small puddle of rain water.
This is no accident, the diagonal stone pavement running from the left to the upper right hand corner aligns perfectly with the upper part of the church facade. you have successfully put the all the unfavorable and negative conditions on your side and created an intriguing image. Wet stone pavement pattern and the overall tone of its color make an already interesting image even more fascinating one. I like the image very much. Thank you four sharing this captivating composition with us.

Very nicely captured, would never have even thought about a photo opportunity like this. Great pov with diagonal approach, excellent low light shot and good use of the puddle to get the fuzzy dream like reflection of the cathedral in contrast to sharp focus on the patterns, textures and sheen of the cobbled stone pavement. This wet pavement gives it another dimension to the shot, and the contrast is superb with limited color palette. Terrific idea and well executed. Congrats

mi fa enormemente piacere vedere ancora immagini degli indimenticabili giorni trascorsi assieme nella tua bella Sicilia. Purtroppo ho avuto una sosta forzata in TE, perchè mi son beccato un maledetto virus che mi ha costretto a formattare tutto il PC, con la perdita di tutti i programmi e settaggi. Per fortuna avevo salvato tutte le foto in un hard disk esterno! Ho finito oggi di mettere a posto tutto.
Complimenti per questa bella immagine, mi ha fatto doppiamente piacere ammirarla, sapendo quanto io ami i riflessi.
Ti telefonerò quanto prima per avere tue notizie :-)

con la pioggia avete potuto realizzare favaolose fotografie insieme. Questa ne è un esempio. Ma pensa la natura dei riflessi: in poco spazio racchiudono cose grandissime.
