The old and very nice confectioner is preparing the sicilian cannolos for taking them to our home.

Il vecchio pasticcere sta per incartare due cannoli per poterli portare a casa. La pasticceria di vecchio stile è molto popolare a Messina, anche se non è come le altre pasticcerie 'chic' della città. Il vecchio pasticcere si trova sempre lì e prepara i dolci con le sue mani. Non parla in italiano ma in siciliano stretto, ma ci siamo capiti lo stesso.

Hello Csilla,
I love cannoli. :-) I like your close view of the delicious treats, and it also looks like there are some delicious cookies, too. When I was a university student I worked in an Italian pastry shop. I can smell the wonderful aroma again by looking at your photo. I like that you included the chef actually presenting the cannoli on a small platter. I will add this photo to my theme about desserts. :-)

Hello Csilla,

Like Brenda, I am attracted to the taste of the cannolos, and can taste them in your photo. Very good close up photo. Just to the right it appears that there is also on display almond and pistachio macaroons, which I prefer.
