Photographer's Note
This afternoon I decided to go at Parco Europa, a wonderful park on the hills around Turin, taking only my camera & tripod, and not my "photo-bag".
I was sure to have mounted on my 7D my lens 24-70mm, OK for landscape and nearer scenes.... but.... when I was there I discovered that I have left my MACRO lens on my 7D....
So, after drying some tears dropped by my eyes and having thought some words not for children (!), looking my bloody macro I tell to myself that I can use it as a some sort of tele..., and at the end I had some shots not so bad.
Hoping I will learn next time to check my camera....
This is a view of Alps at North of the Susa Valley, the higher peak on the left is Mount Rocciamelone.

Ciao Camilla

Ciao Camila,
I love this vantage point showing Turin from a high perch and with the mountain range as a backdrop. I was in Turin on two occasions, and in one of them, I had been invited for a 30-minute "private audience" with Leonardo's "Last Supper" in Milan. For that visit, I made sure to charge the batteries on my camera and to take 2-3 lenses and 2-3 memory cards. But I know the frustration of "amateur mistakes" we all make: not charging up batteries, having extra memory cards, and the right combination of lenses. It's a good thing that you had a tripod, as the time exposure shows the beautiful city and its surroundings beautifully.
Incidentally, two photos I took in Milan, I am sure you will recognize, is of the Chiesa San Satiro.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Buona Domenica e complimenti,Luciano
