Chiesa di Santo Stefano – Collefabbri di Scheggino (PG)
The Church of Santo Stefano is located in the center of the village.
Late medieval building with Romanesque imprint, probably dates back to the 13th century.
The simple facade is adorned with a portal with a lunette, probably once decorated with a fresco, above which there is a single lancet window.
The bell tower, with a single arch, is centrally located above the facade.

Silvio, that old chapel made in stones was built on a hill slope. It is surrounded by forests. It has a small bell "tower". Fascinating religious site to visit in the area. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.

Hello Silvio,
The weather may have been dull, but the photo is crisp and clear and very attractive. The small church has that kind of elegant simplicity that I love, and in spite of the heavy clouds we can see that it is beautifully situated. The woman with the umbrella is a perfect complement to the composition.

The grey clouds aloft and the low light gave emphasis to the winter ambiance prevailing this scene, Silvio.
Yet, the picture is clear and distinct, enliven by the lady with the umbrella near the old church.

The woman at right with the umbrella animates the scene. Good sharpness and a nice diffused light. The belltower is well placed off centre. Happy New Year!

A peaceful cold scene with this beautiful rustic medieval chapel and its catchy bell tower which blends so well with the surrounding. But it's still a really charming structures in its simplicity with the fig lends a sense of scale and liveliness. Lovely shot, Congrats
