I don't like to post the same subject twice, but this time I couldn't resist, the beautiful dome of San Guadenzio in Novara dressed in lilac deserved a close view. In the WS you can see a different perspective with part of the church.
I had been there in October, the month that raised awareness of breast cancer prevention. The color of this event was lilac, and so the dome of the basilica of San Gaudenzio remained illuminated with this color throughout the month.The most significant architectural element of the basilica is its majestic dome, 121 meters high, designed by the architect-engineer Alessandro Antonelli, risen as a symbol of the city and a distinctive sign of its panorama.

NON HO SAPUTO RESISTERE

Non amo postare per 2 volte lo stesso soggetto, ma stavolta non ho resistito, la bellissima cupola di San Guadenzio a Novara vestita di lilla meritava una vista ravvicinata. Nel WS potete vedere una prospettiva differente con parte della chiesa.
Ci ero stato in Ottobre, il mese che sensibilizzava la prevenzione per il tumore al seno. Il colore di questo evento era il lilla, e così la cupola della basilica di San Gaudenzio è rimasta illuminata con questo colore per tutto il mese.L'elemento architettonico più significativo della basilica è la sua maestosa cupola, alta 121 metri, progettata dall'architetto-ingegnere Alessandro Antonelli, assurta a simbolo della città e segno distintivo del suo panorama.

Bonsoir Luciano,

La cathédrale a collaboré pour une cause importante. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du dôme de la cathédrale San Gaudenzio. La lumière environnante mais en valeur les couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Eu sei que na foto anterior havia um simpático fotógrafo incluído no quadro (hehe..) mas esta aqui está um show em lilás. Linda foto com este céu azul marinho fazendo contraste ao fundo realçando a beleza desta torre. Belíssima !

Hello Luciano,
This illumination offered great photo opportunities, so I don't blame you for getting excited. Both photos are very attractive with their contrasts of lilac areas and darkness, but none of them is quite as inventive as the last photo featuring the mirror.
Apparently you are well, and I hope the virus isn't killing your business.

I'm not surprised that you were tempted to add a second photograph of the San Guadenzio dome, for its purple tones make it stand out, with an awesome presence against the dark sky. On this occasion, the dome has full attention.
I like how there is just a slight purply/blue glow surrounding it!

Another excellent and pin sharp photo of this purple dome. It seems so glow in the dark night, as the surrounding sky has got a purple haze as well. The contrast with the darker silhouettes in the foreground is also great.

yes, we don't see Lilac very often now do we, and then you were able to mix it in there with a bit of blue hour lighting too, can't ask for anything more than that! Its almost like seeing a large alien ship appearing from the dark sky, now presenting itself in the brighter light, about to land. cool shot

I like yours two colors picture. Usually two colors are B&W not black and lilac. Beautiful architecture similar to American State Buildings. The dome looks fantastic in this color.

After seeing the previous one - the selfie of you....kind of distraction in a good way but this one.....I can't resist to say that it's so much better and the WS too. Very meaningful of color to raise awareness of cancer - striking and bold. The first time I seen this lilac illuminating at night ... for a good cause as well....is wonderful.
