Church of Saints Crisanto and Daria - Patrico - Spoleto (PG)

Since the snow does not arrive, I went to look for it in the archives

The church, dedicated to Saints Crisanto and Daria, is of simple construction, with a single nave with a gabled roof; it dates back to the 14th or 15th centuries.
However, the conformation of the apse denounces the existence of a more ancient Romanesque, dating back to the thirteenth century.
It is probable that the church was built prior to the birth of the transit villa and that Patrico was built around the church located on a transit route from Spoleto towards the Valnerina, as evidenced by the unusual location below the town.

I really like the combination of the gentle layer of snow and the bright sunshine. A nice view of the small church. I like the play of diagonals here a lot.

I imagined that the snow had arrived in Perugia but your notes tell me differently!
You have captured the church very sharply in this atmospheric shot.
I like how you have been able to reveal the steepness of the surrounding hillsides.
Using the fences in the f/g has created a good sense of depth.

I like the composition & pov, the tones and detail of the cute chapel with the bell really holds the focus for the eye to rest. I find the snow dust gives an added depth to the compo.

Charming little church and as you wrote less typical location below the hill. The naked trees and snow around it add a charming decoration . I like how the nature behind the church created some diagona lines behind the church.
