A crazy attempt, a photo from Milan, Lombardia

Photographer's Note

Trying to do something new, I accidentally routed a photo of the reflections I had photographed in my village's park pond. I liked the effect very much, it reminded me a little of the colored lines of the Moretti Towers in Paris, even if we are definitely far away. To make you understand better I put 2 WS, I hope you enjoyed this madness, it is not easy to always show something different in the absence of new trips.

Cercando di fare qualcosa di nuovo, ho routato per caso una foto dei riflessi che avevo fotografato nel laghetto del parco del mio paese. L'effetto mi è piacuto moltissimo, mi ha ricordato un po' le linee colorate delle Torri Moretti a Parigi, anche se siamo decisamente distanti. Per farvi capire meglio ho messo 2 WS, spero che questa pazzia vi sia piaciuta, non è facile mostrare sempre qualcosa di diverso in assenza di nuovi viaggi.

Wow, what a fantastic photo! A real bit of art, the reflections create such an amazing distortions and the colours are really appealing as well, especially the contrast between the blue and yellow halves.

Lep refleks, dobro pokazan sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.

This is neither crazy nor madness. It's a very entertaining and stimulating photo and it's great to see something imaginative and inspired once in a while. With some thinking it's possible to understand what we are seeing, although the explanations of the WS certainly make it easier. I wish more members would let their minds run freely like this more often. I will add this to my favourites.

nice the two WS giving us a view of the original place. after that we even can see the personages and the tower in this basic abstract view. excellent idea and the visual effect was very beautiful.

Au premier coup d'oeil, j'ai pensé à des reflets sur une vitre. Mai en lissant ta not et en regardant les photos du WS, j'ai compris. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des reflets sur l'eau en une position différente du sujet original. UNe belle réussite, bonne soirée.

Very creative approach indeed. As you can guess I am more into postcard type of photography but I occasionally like to experiment a bit.
I think if a painter created something like that nobody would believe that he was inspired by a real life scene.

A great composition, here you have really captured a work of art, the good photographer always finds something different in the most unlikely, you just have to have that photographic vision as you do.
The photos of the WS that have given you the idea for this beauty are very good.

You show us two fine w/s so that we can appreciate the context of your main photograph.
Like you, I would have chosen this as a main post. The surface seems like that of a deeply ridged glass window, the sort that could be placed in a door, for strength or in a bathroom for obscurity.
It creates the most attractive, abstract, as if stroked on wet paper!
