Risen Christ
The former oratory of the Confraternity of the Resurrection preserves the paintings, depicting the stories relating to the Resurrection, by the Perugian painter Perino Cesarei of 1593.
The risen Christ is painted on the vault, the fresco served as a model for a stamp issued in leaflet by the Vatican City for Easter 2019. (SEE WS)

Hi Silvio,

I like the odd angle of the photo. Your composition shows us many of the small details of the ceiling decoration as well as the main painting in the middle. Good sharpness and exposure.

This was the perfect time to post the fresco of The Resurrection. It has been very sharply captured and nicely presented, despite its difficult position.
I just wonder about the skill and dedication of the artist, to create such a fine fresco on a ceiling.

marvelous interior. I guess it is the building I wanted to visit while there and it was closed by restore, it wasn't so far from the cathedral. excellent image.
