I want to wish Happy Easter to those who celebrate it tomorrow. 3 weeks ago I posted two WS with pictures of squirrels but hardly anyone looked at them. I recently made others and this one I think really deserves the main gallery, also because they are not domestic squirrels and the photos are not easy to take, this one was at a considerable distance and I was also surprised by the quality. Still from the park in my village.

Voglio augurare Buona Pasqua a chi la celebra domani. 3 settimane fa avevo postato due WS con delle foto di scoiattoli ma quasi nessuno le ha guardate. Recenetemente ne ho fatte altre e questa penso che meriti davvero la galleria principale, anche perche' non sono scoiattoli domestici e le foto non sono semplici da fare, questo era ad una notevole distanza e mi sono sorpreso anche io della qualita. Fotografia sempre proveniente dal parco del mio villaggio.

Bonsoir Luciano,

Tuas bien capturé le regard de l'écureuil. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'écureuil. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hi Luciano,
Wonderful portrait of this squirrel curiously looking what you do with your camera. Focus is just right and tight framing works well. I guess I also should go out to find out if I find some squirrels for my models.

This is a very cute portrait of a curious squirrel. Considering how you describe this as being taken from a considerable distance it's remarkably sharp in the right place. I guess it's a combination of skill and luck.

I remember the photos in the WS with the squirrels and the one who descends the tree trunk.
This here is an excellent close up.
A very curious look from the sweet animal.
Wonderful with the light shining in its eyes. Perfectly sharp on the head and whiskers.

This guy definitely deserves to be on the main post! He is so inquisitive, so sharply captured; he feels to be about to pop out of my monitor screen!
I love close-ups, like this, where the eyes are shining and the facial features so clear, but ... they are not easy!

Great portrait! I think this species is coming from America and is considered to be pests, since they invaded Native European squirrels. They are still quite cute of course.
There are some of those coming to my garden every day.
You wrote about the WS as it it was a prison sentence ha ha

No!no!no!... you just STAY!!! where you ARE ... pretty thing!
no,no,no non saltare!!! Phew! it worked with my broken Italian :-)
That's show how realistic this picture is. I just love those beautiful dark-eyes and the twitching nose with long sexy whiskers. The only missing bit ... is the bushy tail but don't worry , I have seen one of your posted two WS ( took a while to find them, walking upside down ... hanging by the tail ).
Ha!Ha! it does not deserve the WS but it does deserve a BIG WS , Walnut-Sack. Don't you reckon?
