Parish church of Vallocchia

The settlement of Vallocchia rises about 800 meters above sea level, along an ancient path that from Spoleto led to the Valnerina, then passing through the base of Castel del Monte, where it forked into two itineraries, one for Raischio lo Scoppio and Caselli, where it rejoined for the other that branched off to Sensati and the Cese. It consists of two inhabited areas, upstream the real Vallocchia, with the ancient church of San Pietro; downstream Pieve di Vallocchia, where in truth there is no trace of a parish church, but there is an ancient fortress locally called the Castellone. Architectural elements of a certain value remain in the inhabited area, which denote a past prominence of the place, lost over the centuries. Today the area is known above all for its centuries-old chestnut grove

Hi Silvio,

Vous avez eu une bonne idée d'utiliser l'arche pour cadrer la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'arche et des montagnes en arrière-plan. La lumière donne de belles teintes aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Silvio,
A nice composition with fine views through two arches. On the right side we see a beautiful hilly scenery in the distance. The probably quite strong contrasts have been very well handled with a good exposure.

A strange and extremely narrow room that can be reached via those three flights of stairs.
I suppose a storage room.

Ciao Silvio,
Fantastic composition in which you combined views through two entrances. Both offer plenty of light and color. The stairs lead nicely from the viewer under the arched passage. Very nice effect. The view under the larger arch is particularly photogenic.
Very well captured also the internal part in spite of the shade and limited light. You have balanced both areas very well.
