Photographer's Note

Fogliano, a small village a few kilometers from Spoleto, represents an example of conservation of civilization and popular traditions, unique and surprisingly intact, within the suburban areas of Spoleto. To see the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, from the XIII century, located in the center of the town (on the right in the photo). The structure is in stone, squared and in filaretto, with a semicircular apse and a quadrilateral bell tower visible from neighboring inhabited centers. The façade has a beautiful stone portal on which the date 1542 is engraved. There is also a characteristic circular window that allows light to penetrate inside, where it is possible to admire a wonderfully frescoed tribune.

Hello Silvio,
This is a beautiful scenery of small villages among forests and fields. I love the green tones of the lower half of the photo and the blue tones of the upper half. The photo has a fine clarity.

Les arbres cadrent bien le village. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des champs, des arbres et des montagnes. La lumière donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.
