Photographer's Note
Interested about the use of the polar coordinates tool of photoshop, after to have seen some example on the TE pages, I've tried some experiment, this is one of the results that I much like, I don't post this image as final version of the original, because I think that this is not an improvement of it, just a graphic elaboration. Hope this is right for the TOS.

Hey, this is [rho = 1 - sin(theta)] cardioid, drawn in polar coordinates :))
What a San Marco this is!
And seems that you had real fun turning the original into a cardioid.
A mathematical beauty, when art meets science.
I loved your experiment Vinico.

A masterpiece, truly a masterpiece - and very very interesting and confusing. When I was there, 10 years ago, I have seen it in another way! ;-)

Ciao Vinicio,
He he nice Athos99ade taken in famus surroundings one would recognize at one with or withour PP, i agree there could be bit too much PP here for TE but the reasult is great and given the heart form you could have saved that one for Valentine day... too late !
Have a nice day JY

Sei grande.
Ciao
Paolo.

This probably doesn't meet the TOS for TE, Vinicio (I guess Adam hasn't spotted it - so we won't tell!) but I am pleased that you have posted it here rather than TL otherwise I wouldn't have known about the polar coordinates tool of PS. I had a look at the original, and would have to say that I like this presentation 10 times better. It's a real work of art. At first glance I thought it was something you had done with a fish eye lens, but when I saw that you had shot it with a Cybershot I realised that couldn't be possible, so read your note to find out how you did it.
Presenting the image this way completely removes the distortion problems that you mentioned in the original note. Thanks for introducing me to this tool with this magnificent image. I can't wait to try it out myself. Have added this to my favourites.
Cheers . . . David

Ciao Vinicio
I was baffled, I wondered, but I was bowled over. It's art, it's science, it's the combination which creates a flutter. I certainly do remember the original shot of yours, but this is quite extraordinary!
