Vaduz Castle is the palace and official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. The castle gave its name to the town of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, which it overlooks from an adjacent hilltop.

I like it, although I don't like snowy mountains :-)
Few photographs from Liechtenstein I've seen on TE :-(

This is a fine shot of this cstle and surroundings. The contrast between the colorful foreground and the B&W background is very nice. The angled lighting works well providing nice warm colors and excellent detail.
The slope of the mountains create nice diagonals through the shot.

Hello David:
Looking back through your portfolio, I remember being incredibly impressed with this shot. The way the mountains soar over the castle is almost dreamlike as they seem to disappear into the mist.
