Kobilitsa is a mountain peak in Macedonia. It is in the middle of the Shar Mountain massif.
It can be translated differently. First it can be MARE (female horse) probably got its name because the strenght and beauty of the MARE. Or it can be simply translated as GREAT RIDGE (maced. kobilista, bilo ili srt)which is very close to its look.
