Photographer's Note
'Museum of the Moon' has arrived in the Grote Kerk Breda.
This moon, designed by Luke Jerram, has a diameter of 7 meters and
consists of highly detailed high-resolution images of the lunar surface taken by NASA.
Looking at the moon in close-up , was quite surreal.
All the time, I just stood transfixed by the sheer beauty of the moon craters landscape.
Since this Moon is staying in Breda until next year Jan.
I've plenty of time to see the moon again and again ... :-)
One more in the WS.
Thanks for your time.

Hello Loong,
The monkey was brighter and prettier, but I might describe this as more sophisticated and elegant. The fantastic floor means half of the success of the view and your photo. Reflections like these are not very common in churches. What is it? Glass, a temporary pool...? Also, the photo would have lost some of its excitement without the two persons admiring the moon.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hello Loong, a well captured shot where we see two moons 'for the price of one!'
The reflection is very effective and makes this shot quite special.
The two people provide us with a good idea of the scale. It must feel strange walking underneath the sphere.
Is this an international exhibition, as Mariusz has shown something similar from the UK?
Thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hi Loong,I remember something similar that Mariusz "Mkamionka" posted a few months ago, and I must admit that his photos were more beautiful .. haha ... yours has great reflections but the chandelier in front of the moon has obscured the protagonist of the photo. However the details are excellent in the WS where you can count the craters and the perspective is also very very original! An unusual and beautiful show from Breda! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Loong,
This time you show us the blue side of the moon.
Since the moon will remain in Breda for a long time, you may also have the opportunity to discover its dark side.
Excellent capture with the reflection on the floor.
Well done!
Best regards, Paul

Hello Loong,
I remember similar photos that Mariusz posted some time ago. A great photo of the huge moon inside the church. I like its blue colours among the warmer ones. The reflections are amazing as well.

Hi Loong,
I am so glad to see your photo. In fact I created a special theme dedicated to Museum of the moon and I included my ond your photos in it.

It is so interesting to see this amazing exhibition in yet different destination. I had the pleasure to visit it already in Bristol Cathedral and in Durham Cathedral. In the second one there were crowds to access and no tripod was allowed -also the model was slightly moving. In the Bristol cathedral it was perfectly still, fewer people and freedom to take photos.
I love the reflection of the moon which you captured in the polishged surface.
Fantastic reportage. I hope you will show more of it,
M

Ha! Ha! Loong, you will be able to say that you have been to the moon in consecutive years! Not many can brag about that!
I like the view of the moon seeming to descend from the ceiling, illuminated by a chandelier but, even more eye-catching is the wonderful reflection in the highly polished floor!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
