De oude treinwerkplaats 1, a photo from Utrecht, Zuid

Photographer's Note

Net buiten het station van Amersfoort zijn er nog twee oude werkplaatsen waar de treinen vroeger gerepareerd werden.
Tegenwoordig worden ze opgeknapt en voor andere doeleinden gebruilt.
Maar ze zijn voor de camera, vooral in ZW erg interessant.

Nobody heeft deze opmerking als nuttig gemarkeerd

Hi Albrecht,
I like the photo quite a lot, though I am usually not a fan of industrial architecture. The horizontal point of view was a good choice to show the highness of the building and black and white colours reflect the strange atmosphere of these places well. We have a similar deteriorating industrial area in my city (they used to make shoes there), and the city would also like to use it for other purposes now. So we will see.

Dag albrecht,
Zwart wit is inderdaad de geschikte weergave voor dit oud gebouw met zijn stalen gebinten, houten deuren en hoge lichtinval.
Mooi gebracht in een goede recht toe recht aan compositie, grafisch en met steke lichtcontrasten.
