Photographer's Note
Markt 19, Delft, Netherlands.

This is the last photograph I took on a recent TE get-together, kindly organised by Viviane (Porteplume). The weather wasn't co-operative, and had been drizzling pretty much all day, so we hid for a while in this coffee-shop. On leaving, I looked back and saw these three sitting in a line, but apparently not aware of each others' presence. Not so much "company" after all...
Black and white conversion, as it seemed to suit the mood, seems appropriate for street photography, and I like it!
Here it is in better weather.

Hello Will
Good use of the window letters in the picture, good link-up to your chosen title too. A now-documentary shot. I hope you enjoyed Delft.

Hello Will,
Since you couldn't possibly call this Delft conversation, this title seems a lot more relevant. It looks almost exactly as the coffee-shop almost next door to where I live. People are always busy with their iPads and iPhones and rarely seem to be talking to each other. This was an obvious choice of B&W. The colours would mean nothing, the message means everything.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Will, the punctuation in your title says it all!
Excellent observation, and excellent sharp focusing.
Obviously the three women were so engrossed in their separate activities that they didn't spot you with your camera.
Kind regards,
Jean.

Hello Will,
Fine capture of a nowadays common daily life scene where everyone is occupying himself.
Thanks and regards,

Hello Will!
Ooooops! I almost removed this photo because of the text on it, “excessive post-processing” !!! Ha ha!... Just JOKING of course! :)
Now being a bit more serious, first I am glad you have safely reached your house and secondly I am very impressed by the sharpness of this photo, marvelous B&W, a real Perrett!
Amicalement,
Viviane

Hello Will,
I think you are the first to post a 'Dutch' photograph.
It's an excellent photograph, especially when you consider the weather and the light.
I love the incongruity between the message on the window and the apparent individuality of the three girls.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Will,
An excellent black and white photo that beautifully shows the atmosphere of the contemporary daily life.
Young adults working with a cup of coffee and a laptop in their public office.
Excellent presentation
Have a good weekend, groet Rob

Hello Will,
Excellent genre and well-done BW conversion, but the title obliviously gives some extra and makes us think it further. Maybe they have company, but it is on the other side of the 'wire'.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Will
Nice street shot. At first it looks like a coffee company poster and when we look closer it reveals a wealth of hidden meanings. Each of the girls seems to be in her own little world.
I will remember to look at it on a bigger screen when I get back home.
Lovely to hear from you as always, thanks for your critique.
Greetings from Agra.
