Photographer's Note
I specially looked through 'Trains/Trains II' themes and can boast that there is no photo, taken from SUCH point of view.
However, I was not dumb enough to take it in front of the moving Intercity train. The trick is: this day Dutch railroads closed a part of track for maintenance. Passengers were transported by buses. When I arrived at this village station, I found out that train is standing still (but with light on), the driver is smoking nearby, and there is a road intersection 10 meters away. Naturally I could not miss such a chance :)
If you look very attentively at the left side of the train, you can see that the door is actually open :)

Hi Igor!
What a powerful view! Very different from my series of city trolleys in San Diego.
Your shot could be better if the end of the rails coincide with the corners of the picture.

Dear Igor,
Very nice shot ... I really like how the symetry of the beginning rails correspond to the corner of your shot !
Very powerfull shot! I hope you get the time to move before the train starts!
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Igor,
A very nice photo. Great POV (photography is often about seizing the moment, and you did good here!) and very nicely framed. It is an intimidating shot, for sure. Well done!

Hi Igor,
It looks very interesting with that special face-to-face POV and short DOF. Details show well and background although detailed is nicely blurred.

Hi Igor,
a very daring perspective indeed, and very cool!
I love this shot, the threat that comes from such a big machine. Real good work!
Cheers,

Hi Igor,
your composition is simple but very good. The rails form a great perspective and the train from this POV is impressive. Luckyly your note indicates the detail to us of the opened door, what avoids to think about the dangerous thing of your shot.
It is an impressive image. Done well.
Regards,
Josep

Hi Igor!
I know the feeling of standing in front of a train. Thrilling. I like this shot, the machine is impressive, almost like a beast!

What an amazingly powerful POV!! Excellent colours and all the rest! Woah! Breathtaking! What I find fascinating in this shot however if the DoF which gives it all almost a feeling of being smaller than real-life size. It seems that we are almost looking at a 'maquette', which is quite intriguing :D
I absolutely love this shot! Excellent work! TFS!
