One of the newer photo from my archive.

During my 9 years absense from trekearth I did a number of things, and one of those things was getting married and having a daughter.
This is last year when we had her out to do her one year photographs around my inlaws farm.
Nearing the end of the shoot (which was basically just walking around the farm and taking photos when a chance presented itself) she walked over to the fence to look at the cows. And this year old (or so) calf stood steady for a long time just looking back at my daughter.

Indeed a special moment for both I guess, and probably the one photo I have of my daughter that I like the best.

Detta är en väldigt bra bild. De båda ettåringarna är fint placerade mot var sin kant och ser ut att ha en fin ögonkontakt. Du har lagt skärpan perfekt på din lilla dotter. Hon kommer säkert att gilla den här bilden när hon blir lite större.

Hello Odd,

This is a charming photograph and reveals the extreme curiosity that children have with animals. I just love that the calf is responding with equal curiosity. There is an undeniable, invisible link between the two.

Children are pleasant but grandchildren are yet pleasanter, but a pity than are we self old!
I would normal have behind grandchildren!
The focus is perfect done.

Good to see that now and then some people return to Trekearth to meet again fellow photographers. I also left this scene for many years, but I’m glad I have returned some time ago for a renewed participation.
And beautiful pictures like this one with an attractive image of the first meeting of this nice little child and the curious cow in the distance.
I also want to mention the beautiful use of DOF.

amazing view of your baby facing the animal, the visual interaction between them is amazing and the result is precious in therms or poetry and quality.
