A little cabin in the mountains. Quite an idyllic place to spend the vacation. This cabin was alone, but further down the road there were villages of vacation cottages. And all around miles and miles of snow covered mountains to explore....

Hi Halgeir. This is a lovely scene - the snow looks so thick, and the cabin so small! I think the image could be improved by brightening and a small crop so I've tried a workshop - I hope you like it.

i am surprised to see not many comments on this photo. i think the light is a bit dramatic to show the mood of winter. the small cabin is nicely placed within the frame. your color and dof is great and thus we see a lot of small details in this shot. well done.

Mountain cabins are so idyllic, peaceful.
Photo is way too dark, did you find out why? Because most of your winter shots from Sirdalen and Valdres are very dark.

Photo is a bit too centerd to my liking, but I guess it works.
