Photographer's Note

Do you know what is the best part of spending a few days in a mountain cabin?

In my opinion it is enjoying the morning coffee outside, watching the beginning of another fabulous summer day!

Building new cottages and weekend places in the National Park is of course prohibited, so what we see today is lots of cabins growing up just outside the border of the park!

This one however is located well inside the park, and was build before the NP was established in late 2001 and thus doubled its value over night…

Beautiful. No doubt that a morning coffe here is a boost for the soul.
Love the low POV and the so bright and vivid colors here.
Weather was then perfect for this outstanding shot.

You can post as many picture as you can of this theme : it will never be boring for me . In this one , like the beautiful black wooden cabin with red elements against the blue sky and the greenery , but the well chosen low POV , too .

Hi Pablo,

The fence is helping to frame the cottage. the distance between the tree and the cottage is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the cottage. The afternoon light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Pablo,
Great framing with the clouds peeking out from the cluster of trees and the slope of the hillside intersecting with the roof line. The cabin looks like it has a sod roof.

I think such a perfect day would be even more of a boost than coffee. Are you the fortunate guy whose cabin doubled in value a few years back?

here we have the second day with frost, the day is begining and fields and roof tops are white with ice, temperature around 2 celsius in the air.

Thanks for your visit, Pablo.
Eventhough I don't your addiction to coffee, I can nevertheless enjoy this lovely setup featuring a newborn cabin (Whose color is that of coffee) that puts on airs of an old-timer resident with a dab of red paint and a vegetal roof and moreover tries to hide behind branches for escaping to tax office!

Nice title and I agree that a morning coffee outside a mountain cabin in wonderful summer morning is great. Your photo is very nice too and the low perspective is excellent. The birch trees are a very good inclusion and it perfect lead in to the cabin. I could imagine you having your coffee just below the window that is sort of in focus. Your positioning of the pole of the fence is a little detail I notice and I am almost sure that it was planning from your side. TFS and have a nice evening!

Cette cabane de montagne me rappelle celles de ma montagne au Portugal, par contre l'environnement est nettement plus rocheux!

Le POV que t'as choisi en contre plongée est très judicieux, ainsi que la composition avec les différents éléments bien placés dans la photo!

I agree with you about the morning coffee drank outside (even if I prefer tea) but there is another moment which IMO has a special taste and pleasant atmosphere: to dine outside at sunset. But it came to my mind that over there up north in summer sunset is about eleven, so too late for dinner!

The cabin is a great and photogenic subject and the vivid colours make the image so real and appealing. Quite a good composition too.

Yes the location of the cabin is inviting enough to have a cup of coffee being drenched with the sun. The low POV is nice leading us up to the cabin. Used the tree on the left well to frame the image. Well done!
