Photographer's Note
Large lakes freze over during winter, and in sprin the ice melts and little by little the lakes become clearer...
In the far end of the lake there is a dam, one of the water magasines for the lokal power company.

A very nice panorama. Tha atmposhere is a but muted but it is not very often we could have such a frozen lake here in France.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Lovely view of Gråvatn, Sirdal
This photo makes for a great feel of distance and emptyness.
The way the cloudlayer was at the time you took this photo makes for good visibility of terrain contours.
For those of you that wish to know, this photograph has to have been taken at the highest point of a mountain crossing called "Hunnedalsveien". The dammed lake in this photo is located at approx. 650 metres above sea level.

Hello Halgeir, I like the wide and frozen panorama of this photo. The blue and pink tonalities of the snow and the sky are very beautiful. Well done. Christophe
