Ah! The emptyness of Norwegian winter...
Very nice lighting on this photo Halgeir, you have managed to capture it at an angle that really makes the scenery features stand out.
I like the nice wide scenery, managing to capture the most of the mountain and the sloping downwards confirmes that Norway isn't just craggy peaks.
If I were to comment anything, I would have tried cropping a little more of the forest/trees in the foreground. Having just the widespread snowy landscape could maybe be even better. Making it a little lighter would proparbly be great too, I'll add a workshop.

Hi Halgier,
This is a wonderful winter landscape and I like the way it's composed. I do feel, however, that it would be even better if it was brightened and sharpened. Odd Jarle's workshop does a good job of brightening, although possibly a little too much, but I prefer your version of the cropping as I feel the trees in the foreground are an important part of the picture. Once again, there are no real problems with your photography; just the post processing work. I'm convinced that, once you master that part of the job, you'll be posting some really stunning images.
In making these comments about your pic, please don't think I'm especially knowledgeable on the subject: it would be more accurate to say that I've learned a lot from some of the other members of this website. I still have much to learn but I'm happy to share the knowledge I've already gained.
