Sandvika, a photo from Nordland, North

Photographer's Note

Sandvika is situated near Nykvåg, on the west coast of langøya, one of the 4 mains islands of Vesterålen archipelago (The others are Hadseløya, west part of Hinnøya and Andøya). The Vesterålen and the lofoten archipelago, just south, are beautiful archipelagos in the north west norwegian coast between 67 and 69° N over arctic circle. The peaks in the background called Spjøten (left) and Engenyken (right), are part of the bird natural reserve of Nykvåg (situated behind and on the right).

Superbe vue,les couleurs sont magifiques et avec de bons contrastes.
Sinon pour ma part j'aurais bien cadré un peu plus à gauche pour voir ce petit cap.
Sinon c'est vraiment trés beau.

beautiful composition you have here. It shows the isolation of this place. The DOF is perfect and you manage the light well to get this amazing colours.

This is a very fine photo! Your composition is great showing us the landscape and sea here. The lighting and colors are outstanding with excellent sharpness and detail. Te road adds a nice diagonal to the photo and compliments the shoreline. The houses and buildings give a nice perspective to the vastness of the area.

Je trouve que votre série de photos, consacrée à la Norvège , est très réussie. Les iles Lofoten et Vesteralen sont superbement rendues.
