SANDVIKA, LANGØYA, VESTERÅLEN

This beautiful day of july, we walked from the pass of Sandvikhalsen to the top of Bufjellet, 210 meter high, a small mountain just north from Sandvika, on Langøya Islands west coast. The view was just breathtaking.

You see the bay of Sandvika with its beautiful white sand beach. On the left, the mountain in the forground is Sandvikkammen (310 moh), the others in the background are Åsandtinden (597 moh) / Vardetinden (680 moh) on the left, Vikenfjellet (605 moh) in the middle and Skårvågfjellet (403 moh) / Storhammaren (289 moh) on the right. The islet in the background is Åsandøya.

This is a truly magnificent view of the Norwegian Coast. The perspective, composition, colors and resolution are all flawless. What I especially like is the highly informative note.

It seems to be a paradisiac place!I did not know you could find this kind of landscape in Norway.
Colours and sharpness are perfect and the transparency of water is quite impressive.

What a beautiful postcard! That's why we love Norway so much, the landscapes are just amazing.
I agree with Gio, it feels like a tropical island somewhere down south. Norway always surprises us.
