Hi Petr,
This wonderful winter scene is divided into two distinct sections of light and dark and I like that. I love the patterns of the footprints in the snow and the floating ice on the dark water. The two lonely people are a perfect element against the white and are well placed entering the top of the frame. You had the perfect point of view. Great subject for black and white.

Hello Petr,
A wonderful composition were black and white is a perfect choice. I like how the picture is cut in twoparts, white on the left with these 2 people as black dots. Surely a masterpiece ! Lim

Hi Petr,
I like your composition very much !
N&B choice works great here ! I like how you separate the picture in two... A part of it is human and the other one is natural ! One part is light and the other is dark. The point of view and the perception of the subject is excellent !
Congratulations !

Hello Petr,
great POV and good choice of B&W. It really increases the contrast between the snow and the water. Nice also the effect of the ice in the water and the relaxed movement of the two guys that do not like to fear the cold of January.
Good composition,
TFS

Hi Petr,
This photo works very well, for me. It's cold, it's empty (almost). The kind of minimalism that can mean nothing or... a world in itself. The two persons there are essential. The chunks of ice and the footprints are great. The line separating the world in two is excellent (a little bit of black in the white, a little bit of white in the black... a yin/yang kind of photo ;)).
I suspect this photo was taken through a window? I think I see some reflections that I would get rid of.

Hello Petr,
A very clever composition, making good use of the counterpoint of black and white and the interesting surface patterns. The two figures are perfectly placed in the well chosen vertical format.
Best wishes....Maggie

Hello Petr. The photo has artistic quality. The composition is first-class. The view from above results in a wonderful perspective. Altogether a photographic maximum performance. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Very creative work Petr ! I like the minimalism and the way you split the image in two halfs, which is quite daring and makes for the interesting look, in the surrealistic touch. The two tiny people on all that white give it the life and movement. Like Claire I see traces of reflections mainly on the snow part along the separation line. Compliments in any case.

Hi Petr, what an imaginative and striking composition, full of atmosphere and graphic interest. Great title too, one can almost feel the desolation of a Central European winter's day here. Well planned and captured!

Kompozycja taka, ze nawet nie szukam opisu, bo go nie potrzeba. Brawo.
