Standing at the end of Hel Peninsula (nothing to do with the "hell" though) you basically have just one way out. So what to do when you encounter such a proposal?

Bardzo pomysłowe i dobrze wypatrzone, ja zapewne bym kadrował tak, aby całość była widoczna, ale tak jak Ty to zrobiłeś bardzo mi się podoba.

Wygl±da to tak jak moje ¿ycie w pewnym okresie czasu. takie widoki czêstsze sa na po³udniu kraju, ale jak widaæ nie sta³y siê regu³±. bardzo ³adnie wypatrzone, podoba mi siê i tytu³ i kadr. Zastanawiam sie nad B&W, ale ta prawie monokolorowo¶æ te¿ jest dobra. Proste i naprawdê "wiele mówi±ce". Ciasne kadrowanie bardzo dobrze wspó³pracuje z tytu³em!

Almost there is no empty spaces in the photo.
Also the light and sharpness look good.

Simple, but a nice photo and also good for TE.

Incredible, I would suggest Gdansk! :) Love the yellow signs, it black borders and the gentle blue sky. It really creates a striking effect. Very graphical compo, but that you already know. Probably I would also like this with more space, but it's cool the way it is now. Thanks

Dobrze wypatrzone:) Najwyrazniej ten brak naturalnych kierunków ucieczki z Helu jest troche klaustrofobiczny, stąd taki podnoszacy na duchu znak :)

Great photo! I love the way the weird signpost fills up the photo.

I posted a photo of a similar signpost found in Coruña, Spain. It seems people build this kind of thing in other places as well... I wonder if there are enough of them to make a theme... oh well, just wondering.

Hi Jerzy, I like such picture, they evoke a feeling of "false freedom", as I call it. The quality and composition are excellent and I understand your idea to make a kind of an abstract picture here, hence tight framing; but for myself I'd prefer some context as well...

Fajne ujêcie. Te¿ w swoich zbiorach mam podobne zdjêcie. Tyle, ¿e zrobione w innym miejscu. Dobra kompozycja, ³adne kolory. Budzi ciekawo¶æ. Wiemy ile kilometrów jest do ró¿nych miejsc.

Mimo, ze to nowe tabliczki, a nie jakis fajny zabytek, to zbicie ich, stloczenie w ciasnym kadrze dobrze tu zadzialalo. Dobra wyrazistosc i czystosc barw, wrecz chlod czystosci wiejacy... z cieplych w sumie barw...

Such potential for a corny and predictable shot and you turn it around completely in my view by this great point of view and the active frame.....it creates a wonderfully dynamic abstract image - good DOF too....nice one J.

coż za artystyczny nieład tutaj panuje :-)))
fajny sposob wybrales na pokazanie tego miejsca, na Helu bylem tylko raz (luty 2001) ale tego slupka nie kojarze ;) moze dlatego ze wtedy snieg padal poziomo z predkoscia 100 km/h...
Ciekawa kompozycja!
