Photographer's Note

Photo taken yesterday, before game play Poland-Equador during football world cup in Germany. Children imagine that they are at the big stadium in Germany. At the moment they were warming up.But i sure today they won't. Poland lose this match - two goals for Equador :) I do not why I go recently go taking photos at te Bobrek. But I have to say it is stragne place. I love this industrial atmosphere. Living in shadow of chimneys and factories.

PS:Big regards for TE'rs form Equador ;)

An absolutely brilliant football photo, Alan. This kind of mystical light is found only in northern lattitudes, and you have used it to its most perfect potential to illuminate the background for the pair with the ball as well as to frame the distant pentet. The composition is nothing short of brilliant.

Another wonderful tonal essay - beautiful work Alek - great composition - although I might have been tempted to bring it in from the top a little more to keep the eye in the image - those strong converging lines do lead the eye up and out a bit I think - but it really is an essay in light and dark - a rich story.
