Today is late, I came back from a bike trip (70km) :)

Interesting objects from a bygone era.
Such a well is a rarity today.
In the picture, despite the old age, still rich in water, I checked!

Well spotted this old well, it makes for a great study in tone and texture. I like the contrast offered by the fir trees in the background. And, still evidently in use judging by the presence of the bucket.

To rzeczywiscie rzadkosc, jezeli dzis ktos ma jeszcze studnie, to juz zmechanizowana, ale nie widzialem, zeby odtwarzali taka studnie w skansenach razem z glebokim wykopem, co najwyzej stoi naziemna konstrukcja

The old source working perfect this is not extraordinarily.
Formerly the people and certainly the farmers could make good sources.
Your picture is very well taken with all details, after a bike trip of 70km.
An excellent composition and very well presentation.

Krzysztof, most of the wells have been destroyed or filled nowadays. That one is indeed a rarity and belongs to the past. A little roof in wood has been built to prevent the people especially the children from falling inside. A door can be opened to introduce a bucket fastened by a chain inside the deep hole.

The well doesn't look in great condition above the ground. A good image of this remnant of past times. I did see plenty in daily use in Uzbekistan a couple of years ago.

Bonjour, cher Christophe,
Les kilomètres ne te font pas peur, et au passage tu as la chance de trouver ou de découvrir ce puits qui n'est pas de prime jeunesse et qui fonctionne encore. Une nécessité pour nos anciens qui avaient besoin d'eau pour établir un village.

This is a lovely photo of a simple object. The old well is not in a perfect shape, and I wonder if anyone uses it, even if there is a lot of water as you say. But you captured the texture of the wood and the stones very nicely and the rusty details add some colour. The photo has a very nice warm light.
