Photographer's Note
Jacaranda trees are native to South America but they can supposedly grow anywhere where there is no risk of frost. I read they became very popular in Sydney. I remember admiring them in Buenos Aires, Malaga and of course, like everything else, they can also grow on Madeira. Unfortunately, I arrived there where most of the purple flowers could be seen on the ground (in this photo) rather than on trees. But in Madeira, like in California, there is always something blooming, so for example for the first time in my life I have seen there beautiful African Tulip Trees (Spathodea campanulate).
Taxis are a good way to explore Madeira but of course the best option is always to rent a car. I usually try a bit of both depending on what is the most convenient and offers more freedom to explore.

Hello Mariusz,
A great combination; the green of the Jacaranda reflected in the windscreen of these yellow taxi cabs. The blue stripes and the purple leaves on the ground also make for an attractive combination that you have nicely cut out for the composition.
Excellent work
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hello Mariusz,
It's a good close-up of these bright yellow cars in a row. They make a good diagonal, which is further emphasises by the light blue lines. Nice reflections, too. Well spotted.

Hi Mariusz,i can understand the jacaranda trees there only watching the typical purple petals on the ground. Great title and great pic another time, this time a lovely idea to show this taxies in a very original way. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz, an eye catching picture with the bright yellow taxis all waiting for customers.
You show us just a few petals of the jacaranda blossoms on the ground, we see the trees in the reflections on the cars windows.
An alternative shot from your usual view type shots.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz,
Jacarandas grow well in south Queensland and northern NSW where there is occasionally light frost (-0.1 degrees), but only on the humid coastal plain. Nice repetition of the yellow taxis with good sharpness and reflections. Tfs!

in fact these jacarandá trees you mentioned (a variety grown in bolivia, not the brazilian one) aren't killed by frosts. we had three frosts this week and our jacarandá trees are very safe. the brazilian one, it is famous because the timber and it isn't wild in my region, it is a tropical tree. I saw these trees in flower in buenos aires in october and it was amazing. nice view with the yellow cabs and the flowers in evidence. I will show pink flowers in the ground in few weeks.
you can see the real jacaranda here:

Hello Mariusz,
The abundant rain has apparently already thrown a lot of jaranda petals on the street.
However, we do not find any on the windows of the taxis.
Either the taxis are very busy, or they are regularly cleaned.
Yes, the picnic area with tables and chairs provided for walkers on the Ponta de São Lourenço was located at the Casa do Sardinha.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
I like the repetition from similarly painted taxis. I also like your framing in which the length of each taxi was included completely. Although they are similarly painted, I noticed each one is a different model of car.
Regards,
MT
