Photographer's Note

Discovered by the Portuguese navigators João Gonçalves Zarco and Tristão Vaz Teixeira on the 1st November 1418, the island of Porto Santo is the first step of one of the biggest adventures of humanity:

The contact made possible by the discovery of the maritime paths between all people of the world.

Early populated, its first Donee Captain was Bartolomeu Perestrelo, whose daughter married and lived in Porto Santo with the genovese navigator Cristovão Colombo.

Through centuries Porto Santo suffered from an enormous isolation and abandon to its own fortune, as was object of frequent pirats attacks.

Lors de mon voyage à Madère, je n’ai hélas pas eu l’occasion de visiter l’île de Porto Santo,
En tout cas, c’est très intéressant de voir ici la maison de ce très célèbre navigateur,
Excellent point de vue et cadrage,

Que interessante esta tua foto com a casa de Colombo nunca tinha visto , parece muito bem conservada , muito bonitas as parede de pedra , bom ponto de visão , boas cores , parabens!!!

Nunca estive em Porto Santo mas esta casa é bem famosa.Gosto muito da arquitectura e até parece estar bem preservada. A luz e as cores também ficaram muito boas!
