Photographer's Note

This is another street from the charming city of Aveiro. It is peaceful and very enjoyable to walk along this place. The city is situated 68 km to the south of Porto and 58 km north of Coimbra, straddling the "ria" Aveiro and the river Vouga a few kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean.

Hello Daniel, I was in Portugal with an organized trip (for the last time!) and couldn't just stroll around. and it is always the pleasure to make some discoveries . Nice view of this a bit neglected street.

Simple but attractive daily life shot. I like this kind of the photos. Just a piece of city with some special mood as you wrote. I also like this old Japanese car from 1980th. Good vertical format, well done.

you're giving me ideas as to which cities to visit in Portugal!

you could have easily left OUT the sky in this one and it would be just as nice.

the overall feel is a scene that looks like its from the 1970's.

Hello Daniel,
The architecture is slightly dilapidated but the charm is self-evident. Good capture of this corner of town, well exposed with very good colours and clarity. Wandering off the beaten tourist track often results in the most interesting and attractive images as here.

lovely corner from this attractive Portuguese town. I so regret I did not visit it while touring Portugal a while ago. I was in Porto and Coimbra and yet I skipped Aveiro.
You got a great light here with the shade filling exactly in the ground it means everything what important is well lit...
