This was my first try on a panoramic image, and i used uleadcool360 to merge 5 images together.

I decided to repost it because of two important reasons:
1- the picture quality was very bad, cause when i resized it it lost detail and gained many artifacts, and i didn´t know how to avoid that :)

2- the main reason is that i love this photo and was a litle desapointed by not showing it as it really was this wonderful place :)

Well i just found another reason to do it: i decided to open a theme on "Estrela mountain magical secrets" to try to show some of the precious, lovely, wonderful, magical,...secrets around here :) This is the most amazing place of my litle world and would love to show you all its magic and i will try harder to do it :)...
I propose to all portuguese (and the others too, of course) that have images from Estrela mountain that would like to share and that can really show its majesty to post it or\and add it to this theme :)))

Está muito boa! O efeito 16:9 está muito bem conseguido e só favorece a foto! Gosto muito, é uma vista incrivelmente bela da nossa "serrinha"!

I'm very very glad you did a RP on this picture Marco. What a wonderfull place. How wonderfull it must be to sit on that mountain and look out over the world. Like being on the top of the world. Really wonderfull.

The distant hills lost in cloud below you are very impressive. I'd like to see this for myself now... the quality and sharpness very good. Well captured, great shot.

Marco, I have only one word for this: Stunning! The scenery is incredible, and the improvement over the original version is really significant. Excellent detail, not only on the snowy mountain in the foreground (where you did an impeccable job handling the light), but also on the grand mountain ranges behind slowly vanishing into the haze. Congratulations, a very unique accomplishment.

What a wonderful panoramic view...the endless view of mountains are like waves on the sea.It must be a spiritual experience to appreciate such a view.

Os picos dos montes a quererem rasgar as nuvens e as cores que conseguiste na linha do horizonte são promenores( tás a ver Liliana já escrevo bem esta palavra!) fantásticos.

Great top of the world view Marco - I am impressed by the awesome sight! The light producing shadows on the snow and the mountains in background going far deep to the horizon make your composition just wonderful! Thank you for the effort to re-post it! :-)

This is what panoramas are all about, Marco! This could use just a little sharpening, but I love the light you've captured here--it's angle and quality, and your composition works very well, too.
