Photographer's Note

The Lighthouse Montedor located on a promontory in place of Montedor, about 4 nautical miles north of the mouth of the river Lima and 7 miles south of the mouth of the river Minho, in Carreço parish, town and district of Viana do Castelo in Portugal.
It is the northernmost lighthouse in the country and came into operation on 20 March 1910.

actually the contrast between blue and red is so greatly captured and it has given a well efficiency.

Hello Madeline - beautiful closeup of this red lighthouse against a clear blue sky. Wonderful light from the left adds nice shadow and depth here. There may be a slight lack of sharpness - perhaps this was a crop from a larger shot? It doesn't really hurt the overall quality, however. Thanks!
