Another picture from Nations Park after sunsrise

In background there are the Saint Gabriel and Saint Rafael towers are 110 meters height and are two of the biggest towers of Portugal

On left side the Pavillion of Portugal (Pavilhão de Portugal) of the Expo´98 is situated near the north-east corner of the Molhe (pier) dos Olivais. The span between the building and the river-bank is covered by a balcony held by graceful pillars and forms a lateral porch fixed to the east façade.
This construction, made of concrete, was not assigned any determined use for after the event, so it required a great flexibility and versatility in terms of space, while its representative function demanded a clear and powerful image.

The building, rising on a north-south axis, is formed by two bodies separated by a construction joint.
The first unit is really a great ceremonial square flanked, on the north and south, by two large porticos lined with tiles of different colours, between which an extremely thin blade of concrete draws a curve, like a giant canvas.
The second body is a building of rectangular shape with a basement and two storeys. These three floors «grow» around a patio with earth on the ground, so as to allow trees to be planted.

Olá Aires.
mais uma bela foto com a luz do nascer do dia bastante rasante a iluminar os edificios.
O contraste com os tons mais escuros da agua fica aqui muito engracados.
Gosto ainda, é claro, da dupla cena criada pelos reflexos.
Pois, eu cá ando com bastante trabalho e ainda a finalizar uma mudança de casa, mas estou bem.
Qualquer dia temos de marcar uma outra saída, que dizes?

Acho que já disse por aqui que não gosto do Parque das Nações, mas as vossas belas fotos têm atenuado um pouco essa minha aversão.
Nesta foto gosto muito do impacto do molhe, metido pela água como um grande navio.
Bela luz também.

Este Parque das Nações parece ter infinitas possibilidades fotográficas, muito fotogênicas - claro, tudo depende do fotógrafo ;-) E estás a provar isso com muita classe.
Aqui mostras um ângulo de visão muito interessante, com contrastes de formas, que se harmonisam muito bem.

A smart and elegant composition like the fine architecture that it depicts. It's a good idea to give a large space to the sea with its fantastic reflections which are the best feature of the photo. There are horizontal and vertical lines which makes the composition graphical and dynamic and the chromatic contrast makes it very alive and intense.
First class photo.
