Somewhere in Lisboa I discoverd this sharp-angled building. The laundry makes clear that people are living at the top floor. What's the room behind the left window? Not enough for a double bed!

Heel fraai, Huub.
Je denkt eerst dat het een decor voor een film is dat alleen van voren of van rechts op de camera mag, maar er zijn inderdaad gebouwen met zo’n scherpe hoek. Je hebt er hier prachtig gebruik van gemaakt.
Scherpzinnig mag ik wel zeggen.

Very curious design, I wonder what the back looks like. Your point of view makes excellent use of the graphical possibilities offered by the architecture. The yellow coloured façade contrasts very nicely with the saturated blue tones of the sky.

Hello Huub,
It's a very peculiar house which looks like a façade and nothing else. Did you actually take a closer look to find out what was behind? This angle created a good composition of diagonals and angles, as well as the fine contrast of ocher and blue.

Bonjour Huub,

C'est bien observé tout en marchand les rues de cette ville. C'est bien construit comme image avec l'impression de voir la proue d'un bateau en contre plongée.

Hello Huub, I am sure that this just a trick, I saw somewhere similar house, but it really looks like with no place not only for the double bed but no place for the people. It looks like just the wall. Excellent puzzling composition.

Dat moet inderdaad wel een heel smal kamertje zijn. De foto geeft het idee alsof er alleen maar een gevel staat met niets erachter, bijna alsof het een straat voor een toneeldecor is. Mooie POV en de blauwe lucht past goed bij de warme kleur van het huis.

this is a delightful brain teaser, a very agreeable picture too. You found a great angle to accentuate the effect of the "thin" facade, it's funny to see how it's roofed and how the light bounces at its back. I like very much the tilt, the details and the colours and it's tempting to consider the wash to be part of the "trick". Congratulations and thank you!

Quite quirky in it's own right isn't it, I thought it looked a bit strange and don't see these often. Would make the best stunt scene of someone James Bond sort if character crashing through then ending up out the outside of the building..... he he ..
Lovely how the hanging clothes draws the eyes into the shot and the marriage of colour to the sky is just delicious. Good observational shot though, Congrats
