Twilight
Period of clarity that precedes the sunrising and if follows when the Sunset.
It is due to light that the Sun spreads for the superior layers of the atmosphere. Its duration is changeable, being very small in the equator and very delayed in the polar circles, where last the all night.
To the matutinal twilight is given to the name of aurora.

Hello Goncalo,
Useful notes on the sunset. Very good shot for 6sec using f22 for wide depth of field. You have captured the foreground in excellent clarity and at the same time composed a vibrant sky during dusk.
I like it.

Hi Goncalo,
The photo is filled with amazing colour tones which wash into one another, and the early lighting is superb. The focal area where the sun is about to rise, is the "centre of attraction" and one can almost sense the beginning of the new day. I like the band of darker blue which runs through the middle of the frame....it provides the demarcation between sky and sea. Overall a very good result.

bonita captura que fêz aqui; conseguiu pegar os reflexos no mar, é dificil, mas como vc definiu o f/22, isso foi possível. Gostei deste acentuado contraste, entre a esquerda e a direita da foto; muito bom, achei bem diferente. Um abraço, Consuelo

simplesmente magnífica! As luzes, a nitidez de imagem. Os detalhes das rochas no primeiro plano. Excelente. Como já alcançei o limite de 100 favoritas, resolvi criar o tema "Belido's favorites". Vai para essa galeria, com certeza. Parabéns!

has hecho un magnífico trabajo con la larga exposición y una pequeña abertura para conseguir esta luz, estos colores y especialmente esta textura en el agua, que parece niebla.
Me gusta tu foto, es atractiva a la vista y tiene mucha fuerza estética. Es una composición excelente.

You included the rocks at FG very well, its texture and reflection of light. Good choice of 6s exposure and bokeh here which makes effect to horizon. I have a floating feeling here. Great sun rays and sky, TFS.

Bom dia Gonçalo, já vi que és muito madrugador, ainda por cima num domingo e dia de S. Martinho ;-) Está muito bonita. Gosto do efeito arrastado da água com os 6s que juntamente com este 1º plano rochoso, resulta numa atmosfera misteriosa que me agrada muito. Linha do horizonte a meio ficou bem neste belo "twilight".

Belle photo de ce soleil déja couché qui diffuse ses rayons sur les nuages de façon magnifique et ceux ci se reflètent dans cette eau gelée par le long temps d' exposition je supose, ou alors vous m' avez bluffé et ce sont des nuages aussi??De toute façon merci du partage.
