SOCIAL DISTANCE, a photo from Setubal, South

Photographer's Note

The beach of Meco got famous in the 70s as one of the first nudist beaches.
At the beach, facing the ocean, on the left side is a high dune from where onwards start the naturist area, opposing to the right side, where the beach amenities are situated, frequented by families.

COVID 19 provides now the same "effect" with no dunes at all ...as you can check with the about 3 m distance of sunshades view from a height of120 m

Today is the world's photograph day... I had to come and share it... HYL

Hello Rui,
A great bird's eye view of this beach, where the distance was kept perfectly, which resulted in a very nice pattern of those white parasols in front of the reddish sand. Very well done.

Hello Rui,
Is this picture taken by a drone? Or have you been paragliding?
Very graphical with the white smaller and larger parasols on the pink brown beach.
The incoming waves and the sea were of course not to be missed.

A high-fly above the beach which shows a beautiful pattern of the placed parsoles on the beach.
By itse;lf, the sand has an attracti=ve brown/red texture, and the picture is sharp and distinct.

Hello Rui,
This is an original composition. Photos taken from straight above usually create unexpected patterns where we see the world in a way we are not used to. I also like the colours of this. But the Photo Information says this was taken in December of this year. That can't be correct, could it?

I am curious how you obtained this shot; was it by drone?

Your elevated viewpoint clearly reveals the distancing of the parasols but, more than that, it shows the unexpected, formal patterns that they create, edged by path and sea.
