The funicular ( ascensor in Portuguese language) da Glorià at the top of its course ( Long 236 m). This funicular is one of the three funiculars in activity in Lisbon.

Bella immagine, molto bene antichizzata e con quel tocco in più che è la zona gialla lasciata a colori.

Hello Roger.
It's great to see something 'different' in presenting for us Lisbon's trams or funiculars. I like the partial monochrome in this one, leaving only the well-known yellow of the tram's livery. I like the angled piece of stone/brick-work, and the thoughtful figure of the girl. The over-bright areas are confronting but somehow very effective in this high-contrast picture. I like it, and the very close square crop.

Une belle capture! E compo aussi! J'aime bien le cadrage serré et la pose méditatif de la fille, qui pourrait être mon amie se la photo est de 1984, car je fréquentais le Bairro Alto, comme au titre, mais pas tellement d'elle est de 1994. :-D
La desaturation partiel va très bien ici.

L'utilisation du noir et blanc dans une partie de la photo met en évidence les couleurs du funiculaire. La présence de la personne a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. L.image est claire et précise. Bonne journée.

un'immagine riuscita alla perfezione.
Hai avuto un tempismo eccellente nello scatto, ed una grande idea nel PP.
Mi piace molto la desaturazione parziale in questo caso, perchè l'effetto del tram giallo sul bn è bellissimo.
Oltretutto stupenda la presenza della ragazza che guarda alla sua sinistra.

Traitement intéressant dune ancienne photo scannée. Le travail sur désaturation/couleur me plaît bien. Lisbonne est une ville où le N/B est séduisant, mais j'aime l'idée de garder ce jaune si caractéristique des funiculaires.
C'est très bien vu et artistiquement réalisé.

J'aime bien le contraste lié à la désaturation partielle de l'image, c'est un résultat trés graphique. Il faudra que j'essaye de mon coté.

Yeah!, Formidable image of this old Lisbon Tram (or funicular). The partial desaturation is really good, and I think that the noise that appears in the pict doesn't spoil it but enhances it in a special way.

J'aime beaucoup cette compo, au style particulier.
Le format carré lui convient parfaitement et je la verrais volontiers en carte postale (c'est un compliment :)
Le jaune du funiculaire tranche parfaitement sur l'ensemble noir et blanc.
