Hello friends,
After a week of work in the city of Oporto, I returned to the chapel, expect to enjoy this moment.

Capela do Senhor da Pedra - Miramar

The Lord of the Stone Chapel is located in the parish in Gulpilhares, municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, Oporto district and is located by the sea and is based on a rock.
Hstory

It was built in the seventeenth century, of hexagonal plan with a main altar and two side altars and gilded Baroque / Rococo. It has diverse religious statuary, emphasizing the image of Christ crucified. The pilgrimage to the Lord of the Stone is one of the most typical of Vila Nova de Gaia and the parish of Gulpilhares is a party too old to be held annually on the beaches of Sr.Stone on Trinity Sunday and continues until Tuesday following Monday.
The origin of the worship of the Lord Christ in the Chapel of the Stone may have originated in ancient pagan worship of the naturalist, the pre-Christian peoples, whose gods were worshiped in nature, was subsequently converted to Christianity. The market next to the entrance of the chapel, is a tile panel, monochrome blue, with the following inscriptions:

Hello,

You caught a great mood on this shot taken at the full end of the day. Not yet the night, but almost no more the day with only a small orange line making the frontier. Nice use of the church and the lonely walker to initiate a story with this shot.

Bonjour Goncola,
Très belle photo! Le sujet est très bien choisi et la réalisation bien maitrisée : dosage de la lumière, cadrage, format. La composition est belle, mais je trouve qu'elle ne fonctionne pas parfaitement : nous entrons dans la photo par la gauche (comme habituellement), vous voyons l'édifice et, à peine, le marcheur. L’œil a tendance à arrêter là, ce qui est très dommage.
J'ai tenté un WS où j'ai retourné la photo créant, je pense, un effet plus dynamique. J'espère que ceci plaira, même si je triche avec la réalité du lieu.

Y por supuesto, esta foto es espectacular, la silueta del hombre que camina hacia la capilla iluminada, y el perfil del terreno, recortados sobre los tonos naranja en el cielo todavía azul, crean una escena muy estética, con un alto dramatismo y mucho simbolismo.
Es un trabajo excelente.

You're capturing well this poetic scenery by a good composition and excellent tone, so it's impressive to see color of three layers(Silhouette, sunset and blue sky). It's also tasteful for a man walking the ground. And, It is arranged for chapel at left side in entire balance.

Les lumières de la chapelle se marient bien avec le couchant. Superbe la croix qui se détache dans le ciel.

Splendid blue hour composition. The framing is very good with the large space let to the sky, the house on the left and the silhouette in th orange layer. The colors are realy beautiful, I like the black part and then the gradient rom yellow to the blue.

Wow, wonderful blue hour shot.
I like the view of the illuminated chapel, the big sky ranging from very dark blue (almost black) to light blue with a small strip of orange colour on the horizon.
To me the most beautiful of all is that silhouette of that one person, right on top of the dark part that stretches till the horizon, walking towards the chapel.
The picture contains a strong dose of mystery and I like it.
