The breeding of livestock is very important to the local economy.

Dairy cattle and the production of milk are by far the most important. Fresh milk is the primary raw material used in the Azorean transformation industry. Cheese, butter and powdered milk are the principal goods exported.

High quality beef is a major export to both Madeira and continental Portugal.

The symmetrical tags look like ear-rings. I love the way you framed this; she looks like a high society matron looking down her nose at you.

Hi Rui,

Very nice cow shot. I would say that the lighting conditions were very good. This means that you could see all the details of the fur of the cow. I really enjoy the curious look of the cow. A really good job. Have a nice weekend!
