Photographer's Note

the cruise ships arrive each monday and bring a welcome amount of visitors to funchal
they fill the cafe's with their excitement and the cable car to monte to visit the gardens
then they leave...to be replaced with a different group on the next monday
monday is a busy day at the airport as well..i assume transfers to and from the ships and the land based tourists arriving and returning home

Belle vue plongeante sur les toits de tuiles rouges qui nous donne beaucoup de choses à regarder. Ils ont belle allure les bâteaux de croisière bien alignés.

Hello Geof,
A very good angle of view on this row of three cruise liners, that seem to increase in size from right to left. I like the diagonal placement of the port and the tonal contrasts between port and town.
