Old City Hall, a photo from Brasov, East

Photographer's Note

The Old City Hall,initially built as a watch tower, once the city has developed the building was turned into the city hall. Starting with 1420, when the building was renovated, the local council meetings and all the trials were held here. Nowadays the building hosts the History Museum of Brasov.

Impressive composition with the modern round fountain providing a nice contrast to the fine old building. The colours are very good and the light has been given extra qualities by the dark sky.

Outstanding shot. Dark clouds, sprinkling water, young people in full activity. All this on sunshine and ancient arichtecture. Excellent mixture.

Alex,

I really like this picture. I think that you did a good job of framing the shot and also capturing the different colors. I think that the clouds really lend something to the shot, as well. I'm sad that I didn't have the opportunity to spend any time in Brasov when I was over there.
